The PR Trust is proud to support the Set4Love Raidfest, a 48 hour DJ event on Twitch that is fundraising to support concrete initiatives in health, music, and education for children on the African continent.
The RaidFest takes place from Friday July 30th through Sunday, August 2nd, and features more than 14 DJs from 4 continents. Performances will be held on Twitch, an interactive, social streaming platform. For more information, including the listen live schedule and to donate, please visit Set4Love Raidfest.
The Set4Love Raidfest is independently curated by Dr. tobias c. van Veen, The PR Trust’s Executive Director, who has been a DJ and media arts curator since the 1990s. “As a DJ who grew up with Black electronic and West African music, this is but a small step in giving back to the African peoples, cultures, and continent who have already given us so much musically,” says Dr. van Veen, who teaches seminars in Black Sound Studies at Quest University.
The Raidfest is part a series of fundraising events coordinated by the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation, a registered UK charity that works with the electronic music industry on initiatives for children in crisis.
