The generous student initiative is created by Adfactors PR FCF Scholarship Winners Utsav Maurya and Parvathy Manoj.
(Mumbai, India, 20th February 2025) — The Future Communicators Foundation (FCF) congratulates Navaneeth Markassery on winning the 2024 SCoRe Alumni Network Scholarship, established by the 2023 winners of the Adfactors PR FCF Scholarship, Utsav Maurya and Parvathy Manoj, at the School of COmmunications & REputation (SCoRe), India.
Karma can be a beautiful thing — and there is nothing more exemplary of the social values of the Future Communicators Foundation than finding ways to express generousity by paying it forward. When we began the FCF Scholarship program, as a way of helping young professionals in the field of communications tackle issues of climate and sustainability, we had no way of knowing it would encourage our students to do the same. So we were heartened to learn that two of our award winning students, Utsav Maurya and Parvathy Manoj, have used their Adfactors PR FCF Scholarship funds to create the SCoRe Alumni Network Scholarship.

“The SCoRe Alumni Network Scholarship focuses on developing PR in India’s eastern region, because students face significant barriers to accessing quality education and resources,” says 2023 Adfactors PR FCF Scholarship winner, Utsav Maurya. “We believe it’s essential for students to understand these challenges and navigate them. This scholarship not only honors deserving individuals but also serves as a beacon for aspiring students, encouraging them to strive for excellence and contribute positively to our fraternity. It’s a privilege to reward a deserving student at SCoRe, fostering a culture of excellence and responsibility. This initiative recognizes talent, supports young minds, and enriches our PR community.”
“It’s truly an honour to institute the ‘SCoRe Alumni Network Scholarship’ this year,” says Parvathy Manoj, winner of the 2023 Adfactors PR FCF Scholarship. “I have always believed in giving back, and there’s no better way than rewarding a well-deserved student at SCoRe. This scholarship should set an example for all the upcoming PR students to handhold the young minds, recognise and reward their efforts which will ultimately add value to the ecosystem we are all a part of.”
“Receiving the SCoRe Alumni Network Scholarship is both an honor and a responsibility,” says Navaneeth Markassery, 2024 winner. “This recognition will not only affirm my passion for the field but also inspire me to strive harder, learn continuously, and contribute meaningfully to the communications industry. I am committed to using this opportunity to grow, evolve, and give back in ways that uphold the legacy of this prestigious scholarship.”
“I’m thrilled to say that at SCoRe, our commitment extends far beyond equipping students with top-notch reputation management skills,” says Hemant Gaule, Director and CEO of SCoRe. “We’re equally dedicated to inspiring them to pay it forward and support the next generation of PR talent. It’s not just about excellence in the here and now—it’s about building a legacy of mentorship and innovation that will drive our industry forward.”
In 2023, Utsav Maurya and Parvathy Manoj won the Adfactors PR Future Communicators Foundation Scholarship at the School of Communications & Reputation (SCoRe), India. Thanks to the financial support of Adfactors PR, the full-tuition award is granted annually to two students enrolled at SCoRe who receive top-rankings in the FCF Scholarship competition. The two Adfactors PR FCF Scholarships were awarded at the 11th Public Relations and Corporate Communications India Summit (PRAXIS), held in Pune, India, on September 20th. In 2024, they created their own SCoRe Alumni Network Scholarship with funding from their FCF Scholarships.
